Captain

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Captain to command our prestigious yacht fleet. The Captain will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel, ensuring compliance with all maritime regulations, company policies, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the safe operation, maintenance, and security of the yacht.
• Manage all crew members and ensure adherence to maritime regulations and company SOPs.
• Plan passages, monitor weather conditions, and make navigation decisions that prioritize safety and comfort.
• Oversee vessel maintenance schedules, budgets, and coordinate with service providers and shipyards.
• Maintain professional relations with port authorities, customs, and other maritime agencies.
• Ensure compliance with ISM Code, ISPS Code, MARPOL, and other international maritime standards.
• Conduct drills, safety briefings, and emergency response exercises.
• Represent the owner at official events and maintain the vessel's reputation and appearance.
• Manage crew recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Skills/Requirements

• Master's or Captain's certification with International Convention for Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW) compliance.
• Minimum 8+ years command experience in superyacht operations (100+ GT vessels).
• In-depth knowledge of maritime law, safety regulations, and international maritime protocols.
• Strong leadership and crew management abilities.
• Excellent navigational and seamanship skills.
• Proficiency with navigation systems, radar, and vessel management software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with guests and crew.
• Willingness to travel extensively; availability for seasonal and year-round positions.
